Terms and Conditions of the Kaamos Company Oy Online Store

General

The Kaamos Company Oy online store (hereinafter the “Online Store”) sells cosmetics, bathroom, and lifestyle products to private individuals, companies, and organizations.

For orders placed by minors, written consent from a guardian is required, and minors may not make purchases on credit.

The Online Store reserves the right to unilaterally amend these delivery terms. Customers must review the applicable terms prior to placing each order.

Product images and colours presented in brochures, catalogues, or on the website may differ slightly from the actual product due to technical reasons.

We deliver worldwide. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties and other import charges are the responsibility of the customer.

For agreements between businesses and organizations (non-consumer customers), the Finnish Sale of Goods Act shall apply in addition to these terms, subject to the exceptions stated herein.

Ordering in the Online Store

Orders are placed by adding products to the shopping cart. When placing an order, the customer must provide their name, address, email address, and phone number.

Business customers must also provide the name and contact details of a contact person as well as their Business ID.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete.

If placing an order is unsuccessful, customer service will be happy to assist.

Order collection notifications are sent by email or other agreed electronic means.


Products and Prices

Prices and product descriptions are presented on the website or in an offer. Prices include applicable VAT. Orders placed from outside of the EU are displayed with VAT 0%. Customers from outside of the EU are responsible of any applicable custom and and handling fees as well as their local VAT payments.

Prices are valid until further notice or for the period specified in the product information.

If a price is clearly incorrect and deviates significantly from the actual price such that the customer should have understood it to be an error, the incorrect price shall not be binding on the Online Store.

The Online Store reserves the right to revise discounts and benefits if products are returned from an order.

In special campaigns, discount codes may be limited to one use per customer. This may require customers to be registered and logged in. Discount codes cannot be combined.

Registration

Customers may place orders without registering. Registration enables faster checkout, easier order management, and access to order history.

With an account, customers can track orders, save delivery addresses, and view purchase history.

Creating an account:
Click the “Sign in” icon in the top right corner of the page, select “Create account”, enter your name and email address, and create a password. Click “Create”. You will receive a confirmation email—click the link to activate your account.


Order Confirmation

Consumer customers will first receive an order notification confirming receipt of the order.

After successful payment, or at the latest upon delivery, the customer will receive an order confirmation containing key order details and information about the right of withdrawal.

A binding agreement is formed when the customer receives the order confirmation.

If any corrections are needed, please contact us immediately.

For business customers, the order confirmation includes details of the ordered products.

The Online Store reserves the right to refuse orders for justified reasons. If an order cannot be confirmed, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

For business and organizational customers, the Online Store reserves the right to cancel orders without liability for damages.


Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj and Shopify payment methods.

Regardless of the payment method, the contract is concluded between the customer and the Online Store. The Online Store is responsible for all seller obligations.

Paytrail Oyj (Business ID 2122839-7, Innova 2, Lutakonaukio 7, 40100 Jyväskylä, Finland, www.paytrail.com) operates in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail will appear as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice.

In case of complaints, please primarily contact the Online Store.

Available payment methods include:

  • Finnish online banking (Nordea, OP, Danske Bank, etc.)
  • Invoice and instalment services (OP account credit)
  • Card payments (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Mobile payments (MobilePay)
  • Shopify payments: PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay, Apple Pay


Delivery Time

The handling and packing time is typically 1-3 working days. Delivery time for standard products is typically 2–5 business days within Finland. The delivery time to outside Finland varies a lot depending on the chosen shipping method and distance. 

Customers will be contacted in case of exceptional delivery times.


Delivery Methods and Costs

Delivery is provided via Budbee, Posti DHL and UPS services.

Shipping costs include postage and packaging. Available delivery options depend on the contents and weight of the order.

Customers can select the preferred delivery method at checkout, where the exact cost is displayed.

Pickup from our premises is free of charge but must be arranged in advance due to varying opening hours.

Consumers must check that the delivery is complete and undamaged. Any transport damage should be noted with the carrier.

Business customers must inspect deliveries and record any issues in the consignment note.

The Online Store is not liable for transport damage discovered after delivery for non-consumer customers.


Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Cancellation must be notified via a cancellation form (https://shopify.com/52765098164/account) or email (support@kaamos.co).

Failure to collect a shipment does not constitute cancellation.

Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened
  • custom-made or personalized products
  • food products

 

Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Returned goods must be dispatched within 14 days of cancellation.

Products must be returned in substantially unchanged condition.

If used, the customer is liable for any decrease in value.


If the product becomes unsellable, the Online Store may refuse a refund.

 

Refunds

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice.

The Online Store may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or proof of return is provided.

Delivery costs are refunded only for full returns and up to the cost of the cheapest delivery option.

Refunds are made using the original payment method.


Warranty

The Online Store is not responsible for warranties granted by previous sellers or manufacturers.


Defects and Complaints

If a product is defective or incorrect, consumers should contact support@kaamos.co)

Business customers must report defects within 7 days of receipt.

The statutory right to claim defects is not limited by the 14-day withdrawal period.


Limitation of Liability

The Online Store is not liable for indirect or direct damages except where required by law.

For business customers, liability is limited to the value of the product.

The Online Store is not liable for force majeure events.


Customer Reviews

Customers who have purchased products may leave reviews marked as “verified buyer”. Customer details and order numbers are verified. Manually submitted reviews may be displayed but will not receive verified status.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved, consumers may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board: www.kuluttajariita.fi

Jurisdiction

Disputes shall be settled in the District Court of Southwest Finland.
