Black 3-branched Candle, hand dipped art candle

These stunning three-armed branched candles are carefully crafted layer by layer with a time-honoured manual dipping method. The branched candles are available both in traditional nordic white colour and Kaamos' custom black colour. Black 3-armed branched candles are only available from Kaamos Co.

Traditional Swedish folk art

The branched candles, "grenljus", are traditionally used in Sweden on dinner tables to celebrate very special events. Today the three-armed candles are especially popular during the Jul (Christmas) time, but they make a beautiful addition to your interior all year around.

Safety note! Make sure that the candle has a steady holder that keeps the candle straight. Never leave a burning candle unattended!

About the craftsman

Our branched candles are hand crafted by Johan who runs a small company called Ölmeljus in Kristinehamn, Sweden. He and his wife passionately keep alive the tradition of making these beautiful and unique Swedish branched candles.

The candle burn time is approximately 6 hours. That is enough to have three great dinners, or two excellent ones - as they say in Sweden.
