Hello, I’m Milla – the Entrepreneur Behind Kaamos Co.

I’m Milla, the founder of Kaamos Co. By profession, I’m a product designer with working experience both as an in-house designer and the owner of an award-winning design agency. 

Kaamos Co. was born out of a hobby project—Corpse Paint Soaps—that later spiraled (in the best possible way) out of control.

I spent 10 years studying and working in the design industry in Seoul, South Korea. In the midst of the pandemic, the timing felt right to return to Finland. Soon after returning, in early 2021, I established Kaamos Company Oy. My vision was clear: to create a bath and sauna lifestyle brand for fans of heavy music, horror, and gothic aesthetics. It was also a chance to design products I'd genuinely love to use myself.

And metal music? It’s been with me since my early teens. Once it takes root in your heart, it doesn’t leave easily—nor would I want it to!

Today, Kaamos Co.’s range includes more than just soaps. We offer Spatanic natural cosmetics, designer bath ducks, sauna textiles, and many other lifestyle products I’ve dreamed up and brought to life. New ideas come faster than the hours in a day allow, so boredom is never an issue in this journey.

Well-Being for Everyone

Our well-being should never come at the expense of anyone or anything—not animals, not the environment. That’s why all of my products are vegan and always cruelty-free. I strive to source the best possible ingredients, materials, and partners for my projects, with a strong focus on sustainability.

I am particularly passionate about emotional design—the art of creating a meaningful connection between a product and its user. When a product resonates on an emotional level, its use becomes more fulfilling. The undeniable truth is that we need to consume less. As our consumption habits evolve, it’s increasingly important that the products we choose carry meaning on multiple levels. Emotionally sustainable design is the antithesis of fast fashion.

I design, develop, and create all of my brand’s products myself. Some, like Corpse Paint Soaps and hair and beard oils, are handcrafted in my own workshop. Others, such as skincare products, bath ducks, and "Perkele" totes, are produced by trusted, certified partners.

• Vegan and cruelty-free

Our well-being should never come at the expense of others', including animals and nature.
Note! I do use beeswax in some of the cosmetic products. Those products are clearly marked, so that customers who want to avoid beeswax can choose another option.

• Emotionally Sustainable Products

I don’t design my products to appeal to everyone. Instead, they’re crafted for a very specific audience—you’ll know if you’re part of it. These purposefully designed products offer value on multiple levels, creating a deeper, more meaningful experience for those who resonate with them.

• Transparent production lines and origin countries

I have no reason to hide any information about where our products or parts of them are made in. We choose our production partners carefully and ethically. 0% tolerance for child or slave labour from any of our production partners.

• Planet-friendly

I thrive to design all product packaging with easily recyclable materials such as cardboard and paper. We only use plastic when it is strictly necessary for keeping the product safe to use and/or to transport.

Most of our products are manufactured in small quantities to reduce waste to minimum.

• No drop-shipping 

All the products are stored and shipped internationally from Kaamos workshop in Salo, Finland.
You can be sure that what you get is exactly as promised.

• No AI designs

All the designs, images and other visual content from Kaamos Co. are original creative works and not generated by any AI tools.
