Inspiration and origin story of the Corpse Paint Remover oil

This product was inspired by a conversation with a Hellsinki Metal Festival promoter, who told me that black metal bands often have bottles of olive oil on their rider lists. While olive oil does remove makeup effectively, it’s a heavy oil that can easily clog pores and cause breakouts when used regularly.

That inspired me to create something better — a simple, professional-level corpse paint remover that’s suitable for daily use.

The Spatanic answer? Organic cold-pressed sunflower oil.

Rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, sunflower oil is lightweight yet powerful. It removes even the toughest makeup just as effectively as olive oil, but feels lighter on the skin, making it suitable for all skin types. It leaves your skin clean, smooth, and comfortable — without heaviness.

Originally created as a special edition product for Helsinki Metal Festival 2025, this remover received such positive feedback that it has now joined our permanent collection.

Origin of the oil and the product

The sunflower oil is grown in certified organic farm in France and cold-pressed to organic grade cosmetic product safe oil.

We obtain the oil from a local Finnish supplier and The Corpse Paint Removal oil product as a whole is designed and bottled at our studio in Salo, Finland.

Re-use the bottle!

We put some effort to for beautiful copper foiled label and a highquality dropper bottle. After you have finished the oil you can, if you wish, refill the bottle with your own oils and keep using it.

Recycling instruction

Bottle: glass
Dropper cap: Remove the glass pipe gently and recycle with glass. Recycle the rest of the dropper cap with general waste.

All orders will be shipped from our own warehouse. When shipping to countries outside of the European Union, additional import duties may apply, depending on your country.

We want you to get your Kaamos products as soon as possible, which is why we make every effort to process your order quickly. We will start working on your order once the purchase has been completed. Please note that international orders are shipped every Thursday. Please understand that weekends and holidays might affect dispatch and shipping times.
